Role Overview:

The Fabricator is responsible for producing high-quality fabricated components in accordance with company standards and specifications. This role involves performing a variety of fabrication tasks, including cutting, welding, and assembling materials, while maintaining a safe and tidy workspace. The Fabricator works as part of a team to meet production schedules and ensure products are completed to the required quality standards. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform fabrication tasks including cutting, welding, folding, and assembling components to meet production specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce high-quality fabricated components.
  • Ensure all work complies with company and statutory safety requirements (e.g., WHS, EPA).
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, adhering to housekeeping standards.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure fabricated products meet design and quality specifications.
  • Optimise the use of tools, equipment, and materials to maximise efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules.
  • Identify and report any equipment, quality, or production issues to supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualification in fabrication, metalworking, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory Acts and Regulations (e.g., WHS, EPA).
  • Proven skills in cutting, folding, welding, and assembling metal components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and quality requirements.
  • Effective troubleshooting and fault-finding skills to resolve process issues.
  • Strong communication and literacy skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
  • Basic computer literacy for documenting production activities and quality checks.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Experience in metal fabrication operations or a similar role is highly regarded.
  • Forklift license, first aid certification, or familiarity with process control systems is desirable but not essential.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating campaigns, content creation (including photography and videography), managing digital platforms, and ensuring cohesive branding across all channels. Role Overview:

The Production Planner is responsible for supporting the Production Manager in developing and maintaining the manufacturing Production Plan to ensure the efficient production and dispatch of MITS Alloy trays and canopies. This role also involves monitoring the progress of all orders to meet customer expectations and delivery timeframes, using the Production Plan as a key tool to ensure deadlines are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow directives from and report to the Production Manager and General Manager.
  • Enter production data and generate reports using the company’s systems.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to create and maintain the Production Plan, tracking and updating orders as needed.
  • Communicate dispatch and delivery timelines to customers and address their inquiries.

  • Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure product standards are met.
