2023 Amarok Tray & Canopy
The All-New Volkswagen Amarok has landed in Australia!
MITS Alloy is excited to announce that we will manufacture our heavy-duty aluminium trays and canopies for the new Amarok. The all-new Amarok shares the same vehicle platform (drive-line, chassis etc) as the next-gen Ranger, with some major aesthetic refinements on the interior and exterior that customers will recognise as distinctly Volkswagen.
The Amarok is available as a dual cab only with 5 variants; CORE, LIFE, STYLE, PANAMERICA & AVENTURA. 4 different engine choices are available between the various models and 3.5 tonne towing is standard across the range. The 2.0L 4 cyl TDI in the CORE (base model) is the only variant to be paired with a 6 speed manual, but it is also available with a 6 speed automatic transmission. The LIFE, STYLE, PANAMERICA & AVENTURA are available with the 10 speed automatic and 3 further engine variants, including a 4 cyl turbo petrol in the AVENTURA. Payloads vary from 1065kg in the manual CORE variant, down to 872kg in the top of the range AVENTURA with the 10 speed automatic.
When fitting a tray to the Amarok, it is important to consider the factory technology included in the rear of the tubs. MITS Alloy can relocate the reverse camera, reverse sensors and cross traffic radar systems onto the rear of our trays. All our Amarok trays will have the following features:
- 1765mm long
- 1870mm wide
- 850mm headboard height
- Weight from 227kg
- Standard inclusions: Texture black powder coat, rear under tray drawer, 30L headboard water tank, under tray toolboxes, wider flared mud guards, factory camera and sensor relocations.
